Project overview
This project involved improving an existing temperature-controlled setup by extending one room and building a second adjoining room so the final arrangement could support separate cold room and freezer room use. The work shown in the photo set includes strip-out, opening preparation, room division, door-frame progress and the move toward a cleaner finished layout.
What was needed
The existing arrangement no longer suited the way the space needed to operate. The goal was not simply to patch the old room but to create a more useful layout that could support two different temperature-controlled functions side by side.
What the work involved
- Opening up the original structure and preparing the room for a new layout
- Extending and improving the main room shell
- Forming a second adjoining room to support separate freezer use
- Progressing door, frame and panel work toward a cleaner finished arrangement
- Leaving the overall setup better suited to practical day-to-day operation

Why projects like this matter
Cold room and freezer room work is often about getting the layout right as much as the equipment. A better room arrangement can make access easier, improve separation between chilled and frozen storage, and create a more dependable long-term setup for the customer.
